Gratitude and a New Idea

Gratitude



Last night I was looking through blogger trying to find some yoga blogs when I stumbled across a blog titled simply "Thank You". I scrolled through and enjoyed some of the photos and then closed down my search.

Suddenly I stopped. Wait, that was an amazing blog. I want to add something like that to mine! As I logged back onto google and typed in "thank you blog" I could not find the particular one I was looking for.

Has that ever happened to you?

Where you move on from something too quickly but it sticks in your head. When you try to go back and find it, it's gone.

The good thing is the idea stuck in my head and I thought what a way to show gratitude daily. I just wish I could have posted the link for you to enjoy.

Each food photo shows gratitude for food but there are so many other things I'm thankful for.

My first Thank You is for
Chris, my husband of eight years.




This morning I was struggling, the house was a mess and we have two friends coming tomorrow to stay through Sunday. I knew tonight my schedule after work would be to get home, cook dinner, work on the house, get my daughter into the bath, play with her for a while, work on the house, and then get ready for work the next day. I was feeling overwhelmed and I hadn't even left the house for work yet.

On the way into work I got the following actual text from him that I will share with you just to show you how amazing he is.

"I love you. Remember we have to stay positive. You are a great mom and even better wife. I'll try to get this place in better order today. Love you".

I try and be thankful everyday for my strong body, whenever i get down about a few lbs I remind myself that my body does everything i need it to. Can you find the web in your history log?
