I feel like I've been out of it for a few days. I've had a whole mess of stuff going on so I'll just put it all in one big post.
Thursday
Thursday my daughter and I visited the farm and I got this huge kohlrabi, kale, onions.
Cabbage, spinach and Swiss chard.
The plan for this week is to have Baja Fish Tacos with Cabbage Slaw and a Baked Polenta with Swiss Chard & Cheese Casserole.
Friday
And, for lunch, some ham with fresh dill, tomatoes, onions and spinach artichoke hummus.
I did the same with some turkey and then just rolled these up into little, delicious cigars.
Finally, dinner was grilled Pizza. (I ate the left-overs cold on Saturday night. JUST as good cold.)
Caramelized Onion, Chicken and Goat Cheese Pizza
I used...
Wheat naan
1 onion
Organic chicken breast
Bruchetta topping
Fresh mozzarella, shredded
Fresh goat cheese
All I did was grill the chicken and onions;
(The onions I simply sliced and placed on some foil, poured some olive oil and seasoned with salt pepper and garlic powder. Those go on the grill just until they soften and start to caramelize but not really brown. They go on right when the chicken goes on.)
I sliced those up and then topped the naan with some of the bruchetta mix, the grilled chicken and onions some goat cheese and the fresh mozzarella.
I put the naan back on the grill just until the cheese melts.
Perfection.
Saturday
Saturday I cleaned out my closet.
Here is the evidence.
I did a quick bit of shopping and picked up these cute owl plates.
I wasn't sure what to expect but she turned out to be a very knowledgeable teacher who was able to convey the mechanics of each pose in a basic and down-to-earth manner. This is not an easy task.
I had my darn camera but forgot it in the car. Bummer as we did some really cool poses.
Sunday (Today)
Today was the back bending workshop and I remembered the camera.
Here she is teaching us.
This is Justine. She attends all the yoga stuff with me.
Next time she is in town I will definitely attend her workshops again.
Well this was my weekend in a nutshell.
What did you do this weekend?

Wow, I have a bit to say about this post :) First, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those owl plates so much! And second, I really hope those planned recipes work and you share them because they sound awesome. Your weekend looks way more exciting than mine was for sure- especially the yoga workshop and the yummy grilled pizza!
I love how you have your closet organized by roygbiv! I don't color coordinate but I try to do it by sleeveless, short sleeved, long sleeved, sweaters etc. Most of the time it's a huge mess with the hangers all intertwined. It works though :)
Glad you had fun at the workshop! I need to start attending those.
I didn't know there is a "poach pod", yours definitely looked perfect! Must search for this ultimate contraption right now :)
Tasha, The owl plates are SO fun. I can't wait to use them more. I've decided to buy more cool plates and I bought an informational video on my camera in the hopes of making my photography better.
Roxanne, mine was really a huge mess. It was embarrassing. I think I was motivated when I bought a few new things and told myself I had to get rid of the number of things I bought plus two. I ended up getting rid of a lot more than that!
You SHOULD do some workshops. I know you would love them.
Min, yes the poachpods are AWESOME!!!!
Hi Dawn, your vegetables always look amazing, and your closet is so neatly organized. I have to work on my closet too. Can't wait to see the new recipes with the fresh produce.
