Another Saturday at the St Augustine Farmers Market.
This time we went with a mission....
We saw some really cool gift ideas but that wasn't what we were here for so we kept browsing.
Saw some gorgeous flowers.
....but that's not it either.....
Visited Terks Acres Goat Farm booth. (I'm dying to visit the farm.)
I was so excited to get a change to meet the owner Miss Sharon TerKeurst.
She had fresh goat milk cheeses for sale, some made with organic herbs.
These herbs were the reason we drove out to the market.
Meet Wendy
She owns Wendy's Organically Grown Herbs
Meet Wendy's drop dead gorgeous purple basil.
Some of which she gave me as a sample.
Thanks Wendy!

What? You were there and didn't stop by to say 'hey'? I'm not there often but I was this week. Oh well, I will probably be there next week (the last before I move) so stop by and say 'hey'. I have a book with your name on it... :-)
Yes isn't it gorgeous? I've never seen it such a deep purple and the taste is to die for.
Jay, thanks for visiting. I stopped by your site and can't wait to read more!
Warren, What? Get out! I would have stopped by. Good Lord it was crazy there. We got there around 11:30 and went right to Wendy’s station as she wanted to give me some herbs. I will definitely stop by and say hello. Ooo and I would LOVE to get a copy!
The basil is so pretty! And the vinaigrette sounds delicious. Did you get some of the goat cheese too? I could totally go for some right now!
I didn't while I'm on this detox but I was dying for some! Not too much longer. I'll get some soon!
Dawn, you totally just jogged my memory. There was purple basil in my dreams last night. I have no idea what else was in the dream or what it was about but there was definitely some bright and vibrant purple basil! Isn't that so weird?
Your photos are gorgeous Dawn! I would have loved to visit that farmers market, everything looks incredible, especially the cheeses and the purple basil of course!
